Video of my MSNBC interview on egg recall

Today I was interviewed on the Dylan Ratigan Show about the massive egg recall this week, now at more than half a billion eggs, with at least 1,000 people made ill and counting. The host understood that the root cause of the problem is our industrialized, factory farm food system. The segment starts about a minute into the video clip.

    incredible edible egg! When I can find a local egg farm i will pay the price! There isn't competition on prices, just greed!

    Well said! Hard to get it all in during a short segment, but you did a lot. I look at those pictures of the chickens and think if they were puppies, Americans would be outraged. Hopefully many are even with the chickens, but I know there are too many who aren't. Why are chickens and cows treated like a crop?

    Thanks to all. Sadly Laurel, in our profit above all system, animals are seen no different than other crops, just a commodity to be exploited.
